ARE YOU NEW TO ST. ANNE’S?
WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
On Sundays, please look for the kindly older gentleman carrying around a camera, named Robert Merritt. He will gladly take your picture for the newcomers board.
Also, if you haven’t filled out a newcomers/visitors card, please do so. Ushers and greeters will help you find these in the narthex.
WE ARE SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
Meets every Thursday from 12:30pm -2pm. The topic for the next few months is “The Artist’s Way”.
Please contact Judi Holcomb-Pack if you have any questions.
A parish-wide conversation about our budget will take place on Sunday, March 10th following the 11:00 am service. We have some good news to share and we have some opportunities to help increase our ministry opportunities at St. Anne’s. Come and learn about our hopes, dreams, plans and updates on Sunday March 10th.
Pastoral Care has begun a transportation program for those members who, on behalf of St. Anne’s, are willing and able to provide rides to and from church for those who can’t drive themselves, and for members who provides rides for other members to do home communions and visits to hospitals and/or homes. At present, 2 members of the congregation have signed up to provides rides, but as we grow in numbers we need more. Each person who is interested in providing rides, needs to be sure his/her auto insurance policy covers them as well as others in their cars. Hoppy Elliot has compiled a form that members need to complete and leave in the church office. Anything not covered by personal insurance should be covered by St. Anne’s Insurance. A signup sheet and other information is available at the Pastoral Care table by the Vestry Room. If you are interested in becoming part of this important ministry, or if you have questions, please speak to Beverly Gosnell or John Lockwood.
Dinner Groups are starting again. Please consider being a part of a group of St. Anne’s parishioners who get together once a month to share a meal, build community, and grow in our faith and knowledge of God. The groups usually include 7-8 people, hosted by members of the group. Each person or couple brings a dish to share for dinner and the groups decide which night they would like to gather. Dinner groups are an excellent way to get to know other parishioners and form friendships beyond the walls of the church. If you would like to participate, a signup sheet will be in the Parish Hall by the Vestry Bulletin Board . Any questions, please contact Beverly Gosnell at 336—760-3621 or by e:mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. ______________________________________
