Faith in Action Adult Formation Series 4/2/23

This Sunday, April 2nd, 10:00-10:45, Megan Gregory, community organizer and educator, will introduce us to the Industrial Area Foundation’s model of “doing justice.” Megan is building a broad-based community power organization composed of diverse civic institutions (congregations, nonprofits, neighborhood associations, etc.). This organization will strengthen relationships, develop leaders, and build and use power to address key issues of justice selected by member institutions (e.g., housing, education, health care, environment). Already dozens of local congregations have committed themselves to participate in this local change effort. In the coming months, St. Anne’s will consider what we want our role to be.
