On Saturday, September 16th, you are invited to bring your friends and family to our 4th Zoocharist at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC. This is a wonderful intergenerational event filled with the joy of God’s creation, the fellowship of family and friends, and a byo picnic complete with a celebration of the Eucharist. All are invited. Don’t forget your Flat Jesus, as there is also a photo scavenger hunt to participate in.
Bring your picnic or purchase food at the Zoo. We will dine in the Hippo Beach Picnic Shelter located right before the Africa entrance. Don’t forget your sunblock and bug spray, too.
We will meet at the Zoo on September 16th at 10 am at the Africa entrance. You can drop off your picnic at the shelter and enjoy your visit. We will gather for lunch at noon, followed by Eucharist. You will need to return your personal picnic items to your car following worship, as the shelter will be rented to a different group beginning at 2 pm.
This is a wonderful day of community, worship, fellowship, and fun! Come on to the Zoocharist.
