What is a sound bath?
Broadly, a sound bath is an experience where you’re immersed in deep sound vibrations. The idea is that these vibrations are at specific tones and frequencies and have the ability to heal your body.
In these hectic and chaotic times, why not take a pause and give your mind a body a little rest through the art of the Sound Bath. To be immersed into tones, rhythms, vibrations that can help bring about a sense of peace is something we could all use these days. Research continues to explore the benefits of sound baths and here are ways you might be impacted should you come on June 11th:
- Feeling calmer/less stressed.
- Muscles that feel looser.
- A greater sense of relaxation.
- The ability to sleep better.
- Improved mood.
- Better body awareness/being more in tune with your body.
- And the best part- no phones, no screens, no breaking news for 45 minutes
Kelly Abbe, an experienced practitioner and musician, will be our guide for the evening's sound bath. Kelly has a wealth of knowledge and has been offering healing through music for many years. Kelly's sound baths incorporate various instruments such as gongs, chimes, singing bowls, strings, drums, and more to guide the participant into a deeper meditative state. You don't want to miss this "one night only" event.
Please bring a yoga mat from home or a comfortable chair. We will have folding chairs available for those who need them.
