St. Anne’s is hosting an Invite, Welcome, and Connect Retreat as part our “Let’s Go Fishing” Sabbatical while Ginny is away on clergy renewal. You are invited to join us on Saturday, September 14th from 10am- 4pm for this one day retreat. Our work will be to help us think in terms of Inviting folks to come to church, Welcoming them once they arrive, and Connecting them to ministry opportunities, fellowship events, and using their gifts to further the work of the Kingdom of God.
Invite Welcome Connect is a ministry of transformation that equips and empowers individuals and congregations to cultivate intentional practices of evangelism, hospitality, and belonging. Rooted in the Gospel directive to “Go and make disciples of all nations” this ministry provides a practical theological framework and comprehensive process for engaging communities of faith to move from a maintenance culture to a gospel driven mission culture.

Everyone of us was once a newcomer at St. Anne’s. Your experience is valuable as we begin to take on this new initiative. This one day workshop will offer each of the chance to remember what it is like to be new and the ways the community made room for your gifts. You don’t want to miss this holy conversation.
Young teens 13 years and up are invited to attend as well. Child care will be available for our little ones and lunch will be provided at the retreat. To sign up, please click here.
